My Ceiling Stenciling Project

R egular readers of this blog may recall my issues with my dining room over the last year where I have struggled to figure out how to decorate the space.  Well, I'm still working on it.

I painted the upper walls Spanish Red (#1301 by Benjamin Moore ) and the ceiling Lenox Tan (HC-44 also by Benjamin Moore).

However, despite that color combination, I still felt there needed to be more pop.  

THE FRIDAY FOODIE Classic French Toast

F ast, simple and scrumptious.  Sometimes, you just may want breakfast to meet all three criteria.  When it comes to classic French toast you not only get all of the above, you also get a great looking dish too.   

I think French toast is one of those dishes you probably love but may also forget how easy it is to add to the early morning menu.

Consider this post a delicious reminder.

SPRING IN WINTER How to Grow a Paperwhite Garden Part 2

I f you find yourself longing for an early Spring these days, perhaps this post will help a bit.  It's too brisk in most parts of the country to dig in the dirt outside but that doesn't mean you can't still tend to a garden indoors.

Consider growing a garden of Paperwhites in front of a well-lit window to add some Spring color to those drab Winter blues.
